Continuing my interest both in female representation and in domestic arts, I turned my subject matter inward, to that of my own family members- mothers and grandparents. I combed antique shops for antique linens on which I could print my images and then embroider them. Through this symbolic body of work, I was able to validate my own history by honoring both my mother and grandmother.
