Linda Soberman is a photo-based mixed media artist and educator who maintain studios in Michigan and San Miguel de Allende, Mexico. She exhibits and teaches nationally and internationally. Recent exhibitions include Goldstein Gallery in Chatham, New York; Generator Gallery, San Miguel de Allende, Mexico; Fotonoviembre, Merida, Mexico; Water Street Gallery, Saugatuck, Michigan; Scuola Internazionale di Grafica, Venice, Italy. She has been a visiting artist at Bellas Artes, San Miguel de Allende, Mexico; the University of the Arts in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania; Scuola Internazionale di Grafica, Venice, Italy; Oregon College for Art and Craft, Portland, Oregon; the Women’s Studio Workshop in Rosendale, New York; the Vermont Center for Photography; and the Centre for Contemporary Photography in Toronto. In 2006 she was honored for lifetime achievement with the Michigan Jewish Woman in the Arts Award. In 2004 she received an international residency at the Scuola Internazionale di Grafica in Venice, and a visiting artist residency at the Ford Plantation in Savannah, Georgia in 2007. In May, 2007, she spent the month in China as an invited participant in the 2007 China Sanbao International Printmaking Exhibition and Artist Residency.
